About Siyah Eau de Parfum
What does Siyah smell like?
Dark and dry: oud and leather, sharpened with black pepper, over cedarwood, amber and patchouli. The pepper gives it an edge at the start, the cedar keeps it straight, and amber and patchouli warm it as it settles.
What does Siyah mean?
Siyah (سیاہ) is Urdu for black, a name for the deepest scent of the four.
Can women wear Siyah?
Yes. Siyah is composed for men, but a scent has no rule about who wears it. If you like oud and leather, it is worth trying.
Is Siyah good for summer?
Siyah is at its best in the evening and in cooler months. In the heat, wear one or two sprays, or choose Saba, which is fresher.
Is there real leather in Siyah?
No. In perfumery, leather names an accord: a blend composed to suggest the smell of leather, not leather itself. It sits with the oud and pepper to give Siyah its depth.
