About Asl Eau de Parfum
What does Asl smell like?
Warm and resinous: oud and saffron, softened with rose, over amber, sandalwood and musk. The oud and saffron come first, the rose rounds them, and the woods and musk carry it as it settles on the skin.
What does Asl mean?
Asl (اصل) is Urdu for origin. It is the signature of the house: Naafah is the musk pod, the source of perfume, and Asl is where the range begins.
Is Asl for men or women?
Asl is unisex. It is composed to be worn by anyone, with oud and saffron for depth and rose to keep it soft.
How much Asl should I wear?
Start with two or three sprays on the pulse points, such as the wrists and the base of the throat. Oud and saffron are rich notes, so begin with less and add if you wish.
How is Asl different from Saba?
Both are unisex and built on oud, but Asl is warmer and deeper, and Saba is fresher. Asl leads with saffron and rose; Saba opens with bergamot and wears more lightly, which suits daytime and warm weather.
